Walker Bampton Makers, 9ft. 2/1 (Made That Way) #6/7 Line, England Circa 1960

An excellent original.

Very fine cane with chocolate brown silks, highest grade ferrules, excellent cork with unique colored seat. A pure parabolic taper to launch a long line in rivers or lakes (lochs) for trout, bass here in the states.

I use this type of rod when fishing the larger eastern waters or on the Brule river and Wolf river here in Wisconsin; perfect for the big hatches and even where the Steelhead are running to small or average size.

With original bag and tube.
