Made with fiberglass ferrules on my proprietary Long Taper Parabolic dimensions.

I decided to make a rod that I wanted; based upon the distinctions which are an outcome of too many years of rod building/restorations etc., i.e. a "Makers Rod".

The glass ferrules are used to slow the strength of the cane while using the lower end of the rod to soften line speed for a lighter line and leader landing. Yes; softer landing and not smashing a strange, bastard fly to a wary trout!

Dull finish for no glare, earth colors with lightweight seat of burl green. A rod for sneaking quietly to your so called killing zone; watching and observing before casting with your classic match-the-hatch fly, smelling and hearing the world around you and above all -- paying honor the the sport!
